About MGMED

In the "Post Genomic Era" we are living, how to use the genetic information that we acquired is key to today's life science. There is no doubt that the genetic information would benefit human health and welfare. Using the knowledge of the information and genetic analysis tools, we are closer to consummate "personal medicine" by understanding personal differences of genomics information. MGMED will continuously accelerate to develop novel and efficient diagnostic tools and discover genetic markers.

History

As molecular diagnostic service specialist, MGMED is established in 2001 by Macrogen in Seoul, Korea. MGMED has developed and is now offering various molecular diagnostics services in Korea, including PCR kit detecting STD, methylation-specific PCR kit for detecting fragile X syndrome, Achondroplasia, BRAC1/2, MG test (prenatal screening system for genetic disorders) and i-Check (postnatal screening system for genetic disorder).
